Masonic Music its always interesting when you come across something new. Freemasonry in Israel devoted an entire page and CD to the music of the AASR. The site’s page music-of-the-aasr-from-Israel is linked below.
The site Freemasonry in Israel has a music section devoted to the AASR or Scottish Rite with musical selections for various degrees.
From the website:
On-line, interactive version of the CD, “AASR Ritual Music” of the Swiss Composer, Andreas Pflüger.
The individual music clips, which were originally composed for the Scottish Rite, may be used for various Masonic ceremonial parts.
The music tracks of the CD were digitally ripped as Windows Media™ Audio (wma) files, using 16 kbps for optimal sound quality and file size.
May be downloaded for private, internal Masonic Lodge listening only.Copyright © 1997- 2016 Andreas Pflüger. All rights reserved.
This “Masonic Music” is NOT public domain. Reproduction, distribution, publication, or linking constitute infringement of copyright laws.
Have a look at the site and listen to some of the music. It’s quite compelling and not being a member of the AASR yet, I would be very interested in hearing how it plays into this Rite. One can imagine the music on this site during the degrees to be most beautiful and meaningful.
